Why is AIXA based in Granada and not in Madrid or Barcelona?

Competitive operating costs, proximity to Jaén (1 hour, world capital of olive oil) and the startup ecosystem at the BREAKER Building. We built Olearia with Jaén cooperatives in mind — they are right next door.

Do you do on-site meetings or is everything remote?

We prefer on-site whenever it is feasible. We move around Granada, Jaén and Córdoba without trouble. For the rest of Andalusia or Spain we evaluate case by case (mix of on-site and remote).

Are you a marketing agency wrapped around ChatGPT, or actual engineers?

Engineers. We have in-house production products (Olearia Intelligence with 70M+ data points, working Digital Twins). We do not sell marketing chatbots.

Do you only work with the olive oil sector?

Olearia is specific to olive oil, but we provide ML, Digital Twin and data architecture consultancy for other sectors (agri-food, manufacturing, tech startups). See /en/services

How long does a typical ML / Digital Twin project take?

Depends on scope. Architecture consultancy: 2-4 weeks. Digital Twin MVP: 2-3 months. Full Olearia-style platform: 6-12 months. The first meeting is always a no-commitment assessment.

Do you help with grants or European funds?

We do not manage grants directly, but many clients hire us with funding from the Junta de Andalucía or Kit Digital. We can adapt budget and deliverables to the requirements of each call.

Do you have enough team or do you outsource development?

Own technical team in Granada. We do not outsource offshore. On large projects we may collaborate with trusted local freelancers (always under our supervision).

Do you provide post-project support or only development?

Depends on the project. Olearia products include support. Custom projects: we agree on maintenance (monthly SLA) or knowledge transfer (training your team).
