We answer the most common questions about digital twin implementation.

What does a digital twin implementation include?

It includes 3D modeling of the plant, integration with existing systems, sensor installation if needed, development of specific modules, team training and post-implementation support.

Do I need to replace my current SCADA or ERP?

No. The digital twin integrates with existing systems. We read data from your SCADA/MES/ERP without replacing them. We act as an intelligence layer on top of current infrastructure.

Does it work for small plants or only large ones?

The architecture scales. Olearia Digital Twins models a mid-capacity olive mill. We adapt modules to size: small plants can start with basic predictive maintenance, while large plants can run full multi-line simulation.

What IoT hardware do we need?

It depends on current infrastructure. If you already have SCADA with digital sensors, we integrate directly. If it is analog or manual, we assess which extra sensors are required (temperature, pressure, flow, vibration).

Do you provide post-implementation support?

Yes. We offer support contracts including monitoring, predictive model updates, technical support and new features. We also offer knowledge transfer for internal technical teams.

Can I see a demo before committing?

Yes. For your specific sector we run tailored demos showing how the architecture adapts to your operational needs.

Do you only work with Food & Beverage or other sectors too?

Olearia is specific to olive mills, but the architecture is adaptable. We work with manufacturing, agri-industrial and other production sectors. We adapt modules to specific needs.
